Hello Septemeber!

Yes I know it is still over a week away, but my minds already there.

From the joy of sending my kids back to school, to opening up a new shop on Handmade at Amazon,

to the annual dinner party I host for a few close friends, to Autumn falling once again.

September is truly a wonderful month. The days are still warm and the nights cool yet not cold.

A month my utility bill plunges to near nothing. A time to set a new routine.

It for me will be both overwhelming and restful.

Looking forward to Fall but not yet ready to let go of Summer

I know I should be creating for fall, and I am in a way.

But today, well Im not yet ready to let go of summer.

Even though its cool(er) and damp today, no sun, and pouring rain it is after all only August!

And this Jersey Girl is putting together bangles…

Hopefully these will be in my etsy shop by the end of the week, for now made to oder on my facebook page.

Im doing these very limited options and amounts in Stainless Steel for $20.00

Im hoping Ill make and list more than I keep! 🙂

Back to Blogging: August

Well, today I find myself strong enough to write again.

Not having blogged much at all since the beginning of July.

My vision, you see is failing. Out of no where, Im going blind. Im not sure why but the doctor thinks its an underlying immune disorder or thyroid problem Only time and my blood work will tell so Ill wait to see.

Ill sit and wait and deal. All the while asking why me? And repeatedly saying this can not be happening.

Ill deal with the pain from the swelling, and the drops and the blurry at best vision.

Today I carry on like nothing is wrong. Today, I place my orders for supplies for my business and set goals for August.

I set goals for July and surpassed them wonderfully.

Ill keep my thoughts on Fall, and make soaps and wreaths and bracelets and stock my stores. Ill keep hoping to open my own store, and strangely enough Ill hope that Im just sick and not “just going blind.”
